Plastic headlight lenses yellow and cloud over the years from sunlight, road salt and washing. A hazy lens scatters the light, so less of it reaches the road, and the car looks older than it is.
In a headlight restoration I sand away the yellowed outer layer and polish the lens back to clear. Finally the lens is protected so it stays clear for longer.
A headlight restoration costs 100€. If a lens is cracked or there is moisture inside the lamp, restoration won’t help – and I’ll tell you so honestly from your photos.

How it works
Photo of the lights

Sanding
I mask off the area around the lights and sand away the yellowed, damaged outer layer.
Polishing
The lens is polished in stages until it is clear again and the light passes straight through.
Protection
Finally the lens is protected so it stays clear for longer. I check the result before hand-over.

How long do restored headlights stay clear?
It depends on the age of the lights, the conditions and how the car is stored and washed. Protecting the lens after restoration slows down new yellowing. I’ll tell you more with your quote.
Does it help if there is moisture inside the light?
No. Restoration fixes the outer surface of the lens. Moisture inside or a cracked lens means the lamp needs repairing or replacing.
How much does it cost?

Can I combine it with other work?
